Joseph C. Coates, III
Managing Attorney
Founder and President of Title Management Group, Joseph C. Coates, III obtained his Juris Doctorate of Law from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1992 and was licensed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance as a Title Insurance Producer in 2001. In 1991, he began his work in the specialized field of real estate title law, working with the East Baton Rouge Parish Attorney’s office, entrusted with abstract research that would be subjected to the scrutiny of our Constitution’s “Taking Clause”. From 1997 to present, he continued his dedication to real estate law, working with title companies in Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Florida and Texas as an independent contract attorney and sole proprietor. In February 2003, he opened Title Management Group, Inc. focusing on customer referrals for growth, instead of mass marketing, attracting some of the top investors, realtors and loan officers in the metropolitan area and eventually becoming a top title company as recognized by New Orleans CityBusiness magazine. With his implementation of the triple review protection and other unique strategies the title industry, he has been able to maintain 100% Bank compliance and protected the titles of a growing clientelle, while continuing to stay ahead of his competitors in services and unique ideas for growth.
